OSGP Starter Schools Program - 2012 Funding
Funding applications have now closed.
The Starter Schools Program has been developed to support schools that may require assistance to establish their school gardens and are at the beginning of their Organic School Gardens Program journey. Funding for schools is dependant on the available funding for the Organic School Gardens Program. The closing date for applications was December 31st 2011. Applicants will be contacted by 11 March 2012.

Elegibility criteria:
Schools must:
- Be registered with the Organic School Gardens Program
- Have a commitment to using a minimum 50% of the Organic School Gardens Program lessons in 2012. (Schools with gardens still in development can utilise lessons 1-5 which can be used without an established garden)
- Have space allocated for an edible garden for students
- Demonstrate the need for financial assistance to establish an edible garden for students
- Have a commitment to using organic gardening methods
- Have a commitment to using only garden products which are approved for use in organic systems
